Pretest:
Midstream clean-catch urine recommended. Avoid sample contamination with vaginal discharge or menstrual blood. High-protein diet or intense exercise may temporarily elevate protein levels. For clinical correlation, PCR (Protein/Creatinine Ratio) may also be requested.
