Pretest:
No fasting or dietary restrictions are required. Inform the laboratory about any medications, especially corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, or chemotherapy drugs. Avoid strenuous physical activity before blood collection, as it may temporarily alter WBC counts. Ensure proper hydration before sample collection.
